Strokeplay trophies are awarded as a result of performance in the 18-hole singles Stableford competitions in the 15 main events of the season, including the AGM but excluding the Winter Warmer.

• The table below shows the qualification criteria for each trophy and the current holder.
• Click on the trophy name or the Trophy Standings links to see current standings.
• Click the pic to see the trophy close up
• Winners are awarded the trophy at the Winter Warmer each year and retain it through the following year.
• If two or more members tie the trophy is shared.

Strokeplay Trophies Current holder		Qualification
The first six trophies are based on ranking points. These are awarded to each player based on their position in each competition: 1 for 1st place, 2 for 2nd place and so on.
	Spring Cup David Tulloch	Played over the first 5 events of the season (including the AGM), it is awarded to the member with the lowest aggregate ranking points from their 3 best competitions. Members who play their first qualifying event for this trophy with a handicap of 20 or less qualify.
	Spring Bronze Sheila Farrell	Played over the first 5 events of the season (including the AGM), it is awarded to the member with the lowest aggregate ranking points from their 3 best competitions. Members who play their first qualifying event for this trophy with a handicap of 21 or more qualify.
	Summer Rosebowl Mike Bell	Played over the second 5 events of the season, it is awarded to the member with the lowest aggregate ranking points from their 3 best competitions. Members who play their first qualifying event for this trophy with a handicap of 20 or less qualify.
	Summer Cup Peter Norris	Played over the second 5 events of the season, it is awarded to the member with the lowest aggregate ranking points from their 3 best competitions. Members who play their first qualifying event for this trophy with a handicap of 21 or more qualify.
	Autumn Salver Mike Bell	Played over the final 5 main events of the season, it is awarded to the member with the lowest aggregate ranking points from their 3 best competitions. Members who play their first qualifying event for this trophy with a handicap of 20 or less qualify.
	Autumn Icebucket Brian Close	Played over the final 5 main events of the season, it is awarded to the member with the lowest aggregate ranking points from their 3 best competitions. Members who play their first qualifying event for this trophy with a handicap of 21 or more qualify.
The next four trophies are based on the points difference between the player’s Stableford score and the median score for the event.
	Champions Cup David Tulloch & Mike Bell	Played over the 15 main events of the season, it is awarded to the member with the highest aggregate points scores from their 7 best competitions. All members qualify.
	Ladies' Cup Sheila Farrell	Played over the 15 main events of the season, it is awarded to the lady member with the highest aggregate points scores from their 4 best competitions. All lady members qualify.
	Laurie Newport Trophy (Handicap Cup) David Tulloch	Played over the 15 main events of the season, it is awarded to the member with the highest aggregate points scores from their 4 best competitions. Those members who play their first qualifying event for this trophy with a handicap of 20 or less qualify.
	Patrick Cull Trophy (High Handicap Cup) Sheila Farrell	Played over the 15 main events of the season, it is awarded to the member with the highest aggregate points scores from their 4 best competitions. Those members who play their first qualifying event for this trophy with a handicap of 21 or more qualify.
The following trophies are awarded for achievement in a single event.
	Henderson Trophy Paul Stewart	Awarded to the member with the lowest gross strokeplay score over any one round of the 15 main events of the season. All members qualify.
	Captain's Shield John White	One of two trophies introduced by Gerry Young during his 1997 captaincy, it is awarded on Captain's Day based on criteria announced by the Captain on that day. All members playing qualify.
	President's Anniversary Bowl Mike Bell	Otherwise known as the "go for it" bowl (among other names), this trophy, introduced during our 20th anniversary year in 2008, is awarded by President Terry Wall for the best Stableford score on the day discounting 1-point holes.
	Ted Barrett Trophy Tony Wilkinson	Introduced in 2007 by Ted Barrett, awarded to the winner of the Winter Warmer.
	Charity Scroll Paul Staples	Introduced by Gerry Young during his 1997 captaincy, it is awarded at the AGM by the outgoing Captain for services during the previous year. Criteria is at the captain's discretion.
