This year's IBM National Golf Championship was held at Sherwood Forest Golf Club on Monday 15th June 2009. 3 of our members made it into the top ten.

2009 Qualifiers - Results
Congratulations to the following BGS members who qualified for this year's National.
- Rona Barford goes through as last year's champion
- Mike Bell placed second at Copthorne
- Ray Weaver placed third at Merrist Wood
- Paul Stewart placed fourth at Merrist Wood
- Peter Barford placed fifth at Merrist Wood
- Duncan Smith placed seventh at Merrist Wood
- Terry Hunt qualified as reserve at Copthorne
- Anil Shah qualified as reserve at Merrist Wood
