Official Charity

Over the years our society has raised more than £22,000 for charity.

Captain David Tulloch has chosen Cancer Research UK as his official charity for 2011-2012.

Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. They have saved millions of lives with groundbreaking work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. People’s chances of surviving cancer have doubled in the last 40 years, and they have been at the heart of that progress. But more than one in three of us will still get cancer at some point. Their vital work, funded entirely by the public, will help ensure that millions more people survive.

We've been asked to include the following disclaimer: ‘These events are kindly organised by a supporter of Cancer Research UK and not by Cancer Research UK. Any concerns or queries about the event should be directed to the organiser of the event whose contact details can be found on the Diary page. Cancer Research UK is not liable for any loss suffered by anyone as a result of their attendance at the event.’
